    Region's name

Post by Dimafo140 on Mon Jul 18, 2011 3:13 pm

We already have the game's name:pokémon Radon, however, we haven't thought about the region's name. I don't really know where the actual names kanto, johto, hoenn, sinnoh and unova come from so investigate yourself and try to propose good cathing names. Good luck!!

Arozza is cool... but it sounds like something in Mayan, so I have to go with Fushi, nothing personal.

On behalf of some of the people on the chat today, I put forward the name Sacapuntas.

My reasoning behind this name is that it sounds tropical and exciting interesting and unique. Even if it doesn't make it as the region name, I could see it used as a name for a tropical town or something.

Doesn't "saca puntas" mean "take notes" in Spanish?

EDIT: Actually, it means "pencil sharpener". Just looked up my old Spanish workbook from eighth grade.

I like Fushi. I've also heard of Oren, Orin, or Oplen from other fan-made regions.
