Pokedex: It's tusks and shell armor are very valuable, but because Cramoths are an endandered species, the Government has outlawed goods made of Cramoths.

I tried making a sprite for Pachystar:



It looked a little too pale, so I darkened it a little:



I tried making it simpler than Ferrety's design. Now it sort of looks like a cross between an elephant and a turtle.

That looks great! Yeah, I prefer the darker one as well.

As for Shellephant, the second evolution,all pokemon names have a maximum of ten characters, so you have one letter too many. You can always shorten it to "Shellphant" if you like.

I think this could be the Water type starter as it starts out as purely water the becomes a water-ground type.

It IS the water-type starter, and it becomes water/rock since the Mudkip Line from Hoenn is already water/ground

Water/rock is nice, but water/ground is better for bulk (only weakness is grass). But since it's already been done, I guess water/rock is the way to go.

Hold on there, Frostie, the water starter hasn't been completely decided yet. You can still make your own. If you make a great one and people like it better than Pachystar, then you always have a chance of your starter instead.

And to tell the truth, Ter... I actually don't like Pachystar that much. The idea of a water elephant just isn't that appealing to me. Its design is kind of ugly too (but that's not entirely your fault, as Ferrety and I came up with the artwork ).

I can't seem to get Cramoth right and Shelephant is too small, but here's my take on the Evolutionary line so far.

Shelephant is pretty cool. Did you sprite that yourself? It's pretty good. I really don't see any problems with it.

As for Cramoth, make sure he has tusks. And you might want to make him bipedal, too. Maybe I'll make a sketch.

Tell you what, You fetch up a sketch for Cramoth, show it to me, and we'll both make a sprite for him based on it we'll and decide which one we'll use.

EDIT: Yeah, I added some small tusks to Shelephant if you look closer.

Ah, I thought Shelephant's tusk was just a white spot on his face. But yeah, I can make a sketch for Cramoth. Maybe I'll make one in school tomorrow.

We think it's going to be a starter, but we haven't decided for sure yet. We still have other people (Frostie) who have a water started of their own.

Just because there is already a type combo for it doesn't mean there can't be another one. There has been 3 fire/fighting starters so far.

I think first of all we should consider all fakemons as average pkm rather than begginers. Then, when we have 4 or 5 candidates, vote which one is going to be the beginner basing our vote on the type, the shape...I quite like pachystar, but i don't see it as a begginer so it would be better to wait until more ideas.

For those (i include myself) who don't know how to make a creation with pkm style, visit youtube and search for "fake pokemon". There are some videos whose owners are freedomdxt or xeveemon that show some incredible drawings. I'm sure they will help.

That sounds better.

So far, all the water starters have been primarily blue. This one isn't. I love it, but it should be blue to fit in, I think.

Here's an outline. Too lazy to finish the sprite. If anybody wants to fill in the colors, feel free, just make sure to use the same color palette as the prevos.
