LOL!! whoops sorry for getting so off topic. anyway yeah i think these pokemon could have a move pool kinda like this:

    Pound
    Attract
    Absorb
Hypnosis (cuz what happens when you drink too much? Wink)
    Charm
    Mega Drain
Synthesis (cant feel pain when youre drunk xD)
    Drain Punch

thank you for the movepool jwoo, i like your idea and i expect to prepare the appropiate page as soon as i can (yeah, i always say the same, i would like it to be true, but whith both the list and nesied project i start to have too much work!!!).
My first idea about the attacks was that they would have many "absorving" attacks, wich is quite represented on your list.
About the question Gelatino made; whether they were going to be
standalone or evolution. I've designed them as Bacus being the evolution of Muscady, but the final design made them too similar. I don't know what to think, maybe i should remake the design... I beg people on this forum to decide too Cool

I like them to be an evolutionary line... Muscady evolves at bacuvine. maybe in a difficult way or by trading... hey you can do a new item called wine that would be similar to honey in other games!

good idea but i may consider more as an orange juice rather than honey... About the evolution i've decided to make Muscady evolve with a leaf stone.
And finnally just announce everyone that i've updated the first page!

Just to refresh things here... You never posted your ability fermentation in the moves and abilities section!

Plus I thought of stats for those too!

    Muscady: HP 77/ ATT 30/ DEF 50/ Sp ATT 70/ Sp DEF 60/ SPD 30/ Total 317

    Bacuvine: HP 127/ ATT 50/ DEF 70/ Sp ATT 85/ Sp DEF 80/ SPD 65/ Total 477

If you had a different stat repartition just tell me... Sp ATT cz they have grass draining moves wich they are special!

That Sp. Atk. is pretty high, Itsme. But IDK, maybe it's ok, I wouldn't know.

Thanks, it's true i forgot about it... About the stats i see you didn't make them competitively useful; i agree with, Bacuvine and Muscady weren't created to be powerfull (in fact the only porpouse of their existance is to make wine!! Smile ).
So i liked the average. However as,kdd suggested you could low the special attack, maybe around 85 would be better. To balance i would level up their hp; they're fat and have many "calories".

If you're going to raise the HP, you may want to lower defenses to compensate. We don't want them to be excessively bulky.

Ok... Raised HP and SPD by 20
Lowered DEF, Sp DEF by 10
    Lowered Sp ATT by 15

Is it ok now? If not just tell me... Don't be shy! Wink

Updated Bacuvine's sprite; not bad, i prefer it than muscady's one. I made it orange not just to add a difference from muscady but to emphasize vines are recollected in autum too!

Thanks everyone, i'm glad you liked them Razz .
However, i still think it's not my best work (bikonrol is,it took me almost 4 days-not whole,of course!!- while i madebacuvine in only some hours). I tried to improve my shading in Bacuvine, althought i have still to improve the outline; i never know when leaving it black or not!
Ah,and Muscady is added with Loqua and Guardilen to the my private section "sprites i'll have to remake in a future but i never remember and how to do it neither"

I'm really sorry to say this, but I just noticed a BIG mistake with your sprites. They're saved as jpegs. That makes the colors all mixed up and stuff. Pokemon sprites are supposed to have flat colors, so they need to be saved as PNGs to retain the colors. Unless you have another set of sprites saved in a different format, you'll have to start over, since those sprites have already been saved the wrong way.

Don't worry, in addition, most of them were made in 80x80 or to fit in, so i'd to resize them anyway. I had also heard jpeg made them worse, but as they seemed ok i didn't pay much attention to that. However, if we are finnally making the game it's true i should change them to PNGs. In addition, now i know the shape and the colouring it's not a hard work (i think, giving it a good pose and get the right colours are the most difficult things)

EDIT; if i open this file with paint, it copy the image, i paste it on another paint and then i save it as PNGs isn't the problem solved (if i'm wrong just tell, i'm completely an ignorant in terms of computing). Take this image and try how it looks:

^Sorry for double posting Gelo but noone answered my question.

Apart from this, i'll upload Bacuvine's shiny sprite soon.
EDIT; here it is, i wanted it to show other grape's colours; blue grape for the body and green grape for the one attached on the body.

I think this can be a very good standard bulky grass cz it has lots of draining moves and synthesis but I might have added leaf storm, Body slam, leech seed and nature power... But very good movepool though!

Besides instead of the wine producer pokemon, Muscady can be the Picking pokemon and Bacuvine can be the Fermentation pokemon.

day dimafo i had 2 questions. one is maybe you could edit the stats and lower its defense and add more special defense since i made witisquire a physical wall i thought since these 2 mirror each other that bacuvine should be a special wall. also maybe moves that the 2 could use in double battle (like say maybe Ripen and Ferment) where if used together they confuse (drunken) the enemy pokemon?
