    Neurotoxin

Post by King Dedede on Fri May 06, 2011 12:12 am

In reality, a Neurotoxin is a kind of poison that messes with the nerves, either causing paralysis or violent uncontrollable spasms.

    Name: Neurotoxin
    Type: Poison
    Base power: 15
    Accuracy: 90%
    PP: 15
    Effect: paralyzes the enemy.

It is basically poison sting, but instead of having a 30% chance of poisoning, it has a 90% chance of paralyzing.

So, basically a paralyzing move like Thunder Wave? Sounds cool. The only problem is that it wouldn't affect Steel types.

You do have a point. However, if I changed the type It would no longer be a Neurotoxin.

No need to change it. This move is fine.

since a neurotoxin messes with the brain, why don't you make it a psychic type move? It could then effect steel types.

I think we should keep it poison, so that steel types can switch in on it if they get the chance.

2 things. Poison type mean your not hitting steels for damage. & since its a toxin wouldn't that mean poison types wouldn't be affected as well? When was the last time you were able to poison some poison? Razz

Steel types are not affected at all by poison type moves. However, Poison types can be hit by poison moves, they just cannot be under the poison status condition. However, this move does not poison the opponent, it paralyzes them. Therefore, it works on poison types but not steels.

I like it. Not overpowered, not a clone of anything, it's great.
