Why so darn fast? It's not supposed to run away from its enemies, it's supposed to lure them.

It cannot be slow for luring... It's not actually charming or calling opponents... It is supposed to go and run away from a predator that wants to eat it and hide in an anemonster... When the predator comes to search for it, it becomes the prey! Thats why it needs to be fast! Besides Fish are known to be fast! It doesn't have that strong defensive abilities so being fast to run is always the way it defends itself!

Okay, then. Maybe the ability should just stay as Immunity, since clownfish aren't necessarily "healed" by anemone.

I thought you said to make it Immunity/Poison Heal... although I kind of agree, just Immunity would probably be best.

I did say make it immunity/poison heal cz I thought the latter is cool... But It's not obligatory... Since it's your pokemon king it's your call! Immunity is basic stuff not complicated and I like it!

    9-Tail slap
    13-Bubblebeam
    15-Brine
    17-Swift
    19-Memento
    23-Camouflage
    28-Flail
    33-Dark pulse
    35-Faint attack
    40-Me first
    44-Agility
    50-Hydro pump

    HM/TM:
Knock off, Nasty plot, Snarl, Taunt, Torment, Aerial ace, Shadow ball, Blizzard, Ice beam, Attract, Frustration, Giga impact, Hidden power, Hyper beam, Protect, Return, Substitute, Swagger, Sludge bomb, Toxic, Dream eater, Psychic, Rest, Dive, Rain dance, Scald, Surf.

    Egg moves:
Assurance, Curse, Night shade, Mean look, Moonlight, Scary face, Poison jab, Iron tail, Aqua jet, Aqua tail, Water pulse, Whirlpool.

For this design, since it's supposed to look evil, perhaps it should have the teeth of an angler fish and some black markings around its face to distinguish it from regular clownfish. After all, the only angler fish pokemon we have now is Lanturn, and it doesn't necessarily fill the malicious role that anglerfish are supposed to play.

In fact, if we're going to go through with the anglerfish theme, should we use the same sort of sexual dimorphism? The males re supposed to be smaller, but maybe we don't have to use that to the same degree as in real anglerfish. Perhaps the male can have a slightly smaller sprite and shorter teeth than the female.

Wait. It is supposed to be evil? Then do it a bit more like a piranha, or like the one in Finding Nemo. Just make it with BIG teeth, and the female can be different colored.

Based on its disposition, I can only assume it's supposed to be evil. The current description says that it lures prey with its harmless appearance, but when it comes to pokemon, design is everything. The design of a pokemon is the mental image that people have when they think about a pokemon. If we make it look innocent, then the message isn't going to get across very well. That's why I proposed that we make it look more intimidating by introducing design elements from anglerfish.

The big teeth will certainly help it look more threatening. The reason I wanted to make the female larger than the male is because one of the most distinctive features of anglerfish is that they display incredible sexual dimorphism; the female is the member of the species which most people are familiar with. The male is much smaller and cannot actually hunt on its own, so it acts as a parasite to the female, clinging to it for food.

If we want to include this sexual dimorphism as a design element, then we have a few options. On one hand, we could make it a female-only species. Otherwise, we could give different sprites to the male and female; the male is a bit smaller and has smaller teeth. In addition, we could make them into two entirely different species, like Tauros and Miltank.

This is, of course, if we decide that we want to include the sexual dimorphism in the first place.

I like the first art but maybe the dorsal fin needs to be different.

It is supposed to look innocent so it can play it's deceiving role perfectly... But I think it's a good idea to make look a little more evil and I go for the protruding fangs. But I don't like the angler fish idea on this one because it's already a clown fish.

Btw angler fish are very freaky animals (The males bites on the females and becomes an organ in her... This is how they mate). A pokemon with this concept is freaky good showing the dismorphism between the two and I don't see why not making them like tauros and miltank but making the males much weaker than the females.

I personally think including anglerfish qualities would be the perfect thing to make Festevil more threatening while simultaneously making an interesting pokemon overall (considering we don't yet have a menacing anglerfish pokemon). However, I'd like to hear a few more opinions on this topic before making any decisions.

Mmmm... It starts to sounds appealing enough for me... We can make the artwork and decide based on it! It can be a good idea!
