elite 4 grass member

I was hoping that my grass boss character could be an elite 4 member. the sprite is above, some names i can think of are Foleo (foliage), Rudy (root), and Vincent (vine). and here is the team i had in mind:

Whitisquire (Grass/Fire)

Synthesis

Luclover (Grass)

Hypnosis
Giga Drain

Haycrow (assuming Grass/Dark)

Razor Leaf
Leech Seed
Protect

Tulizard's last Evo (Grass/Ground)
Leaf Blade
Earthquake
Flamethrower
Hidden Power (electric)

Really good! I've always felt that the grass type needed an elite 4 member. One suggestion, though. If tulizard is gonna be a starter, it might not be a good idea to have it in the elite 4.

why not? flint has an infernape, lance has a charizard. plus its no 100% that tulizard will be a starter

I'm pretty sure E4 members only have four Poke'mon. Other than that, this is pretty good.

if it is only 4 i will have Mallad's evo, luclover, bacuvine, and whitisquire

I think that is a good idea a balance. Like three of our Pokémon and one Pokémon of previous gens.

Although i feel sad for this i support it; bacuvine isn't the most challenging pkm in the world...

If we're doing an Unova-style Elite Four, then we'll go with four pokemon per member. However, all other regions use five per.

As for the party choices, there's really no reason that we shouldn't have a starter, and it would really be best if we use pokemon native to our region, so make sure that we use all the non-Fushi pokemon on some of the routes.

Also, we might need to do a revamp of the character, since the current sprite really has no relation whatsoever to the grass type.

i'll make a couple new takes on the sprite but just to point out there are plenty or elite 4 members who don't resemble their type much except for the color of their clothes, and sometimes that isn't even the case (ex. lorelei, karen, bertha)

Maybe a camo design on the clothing would make sense.

Nice and I think vincent is perfect for a grass type trainer cz it sounds like Vine and Scent like sweet scent! So Good job!

no offense but i'm not exactly a fan of camo

I don't like camo that much either, but it would make great sense in context. If we give this guy an entire camo uniform, then maybe he can have origins in the military like Lt. Surge, which would be a great backstory.

Maybe jwoo should explain us his character's personality in orther to dress him properly and to give him a more "leafy" context;remember Quarslo, one of our best described characters (no, i'm not saying this because he is my character ) began with me describing him as a serious and intellectual man-then come the monocle usw.

well i was planning on having this character being the youngest ever elite 4 member and have a young person sense of humor (random for the most part) thats why i went with lighter colors

The problem with him being young is that we already have an Elite Four member who's a teenager, and I think it's best if we stick to the theme of adults being Elite Four members (since it only makes sense, seeing as young people aren't likely to have as many years to train with their pokemon as adults who have been training their whole lives.

thats fine i guess so i guess he'll just be funny and very random i cant really think of a way to add stuff to the sprite with that tho

here is a fresh take on the sprite. tried to make the shirt look tie-died. thinking maybe he'll be an environmentalist who you meet at some point in the game when the team Nova is trying to destroy some important nature thing
