    Pegus/Higrave/Krysor

Post by Guest on Tue Jul 05, 2011 5:47 am

    #777 pegus
    flying horse pokemon
    flying type
    HT 3'4"
    WT 150 lbs

it can fly 3 days after it's born. it is said to be brought to our world from a little girls imagination by Jirachi.

    abilities:
flight or fight:this pokemon can flee from any wild pokemon battle as long as it does so before any attacks are made. after first attack all attacks are at + 0.25 strength

    evolves to either:

    #778 Higrave
    the steel winged horse pokemon
    steel type and flying type
    HT 6'0"
    WT 350lbs
it is said to have carried (some hero important to some in game story) to the battle of (some important place in above story).

    ability:
leadership:when this pokemon is first in the party the other pokemon in the party become friendly faster

    or ...

    #779 Krysor
    the winged boar pokemon
    dark type and flying type
    HT 3'5"
    WT 400lbs
it is said that krysor can identify scents on the wind on the other side of the world.

loyalty:moves that may damage fellow party members have no effect on fellow party members

pegus evolves into higrave at level 42 unless it has ever fainted during the battle then it becomes Krysor.

the names and likenesses are loosely based on Greek Mythology ... I posted this on serebii's forums but there the thread I was told to post it in was like a junk drawer ...

I'm actually a pretty good artist ... I'd like some help with the color though once I get something drawn up ...

I don't really like the ability you gave to the first evolution. All attacks powered up by 25%? It seems a bit weird. In my opinion, you should just give it Run Away.

I also don't like the way it evolves. First of all, if it faints during a battle, it doesn't earn experience points during the battle. Also, you should never encourage pokemon to faint in the first place. It just seems wrong, if you know what I mean. Maybe you can have them evolve with a Shiny stone or a Dusk stone, just as a suggestion?

I was trying to depart from ponyta a bit ... maybe just flying moves

it's not really an encouragement ... Higrave is a powerful pokemon and Krysor is a middling pokemon ... it's greek mythology Krysor was the brother of Pegasus and higrave was inspired by a horse god from some other mythology ... I do see what you mean though ... but not stones ...

Maybe one evolves by leveling up to a certain level by day and the other by night.

I don't think that's possible with 3rd gen mechanics, sadly.
