Absolute Zero ability

Name: Absolute Zero

Effect: Has a ten percent (10%) chance of inflicting the user with the FRZ condition when contact is made.

As described in another thread, this ability is very potent and best reserved for a legendary, so I'm just throwing the idea out there. If "Absolute Zero" is too long of a name, then something else like "Dry Ice" would work well.

I think 10% chance of occuring is so minimal it's neglected and why would it be reserved for legendaries I mean that ice beam has a 10% chance of freezing and every ice type pokemon gets it even water types. Same thing for blizzard and many other ice type moves!

If this gonna be on legendaries I think you can make it 30% chance cz legendaries are created to be broken! But that's just my idea!

Legendaries are made to be broken in terms of stats, not because of hax. And the 10% chance of freezing on contact is worse than the 10% chance from ice beam because ice beam is just one move, while physical contact is usually made much more often in some cases.

Dry Ice burns, I think. Not freezes. Or it was both?

Dry ice is cold enough that it damages skin tissue on contact. This is actually frotsbite, not burning, but it has a similar effect. But anyway, this is pokemon, so we don't have to make perfect sense. Dry Ice is cold and the ability freezes on contact, to it makes enough sense.

If that is the case, it could be too that damages on contact.
