These Poke'mon live on rocky atolls. They avoid adult humans, but will sometimes approach children in an attempt to become friends

These Poke'mon are apex predators in many areas. However, they are shy and have so far never had contact with the terrestrial world.

Neisor (from nessie+origine= related to be old, and the fact i had already made its drawing some years ago)
These Poke'mon are believed to be extinct in the wild. Although powerful, they feed on relatively small things.

Comments from the author; i'm glad you liked the idea- i made them dragon/water and i think nothing it's going to change it. Not sure about the names if you have an idea just tell me, however i would like them to have nessie or something similar to their names.if anyone wants to make the stats just do it but read the discussion we made on this page and its results (should be pseudo-legend?) Cool, but I think we have too many Dragon-types, and just because it's a Sea Monster/Plesiosaur doesn't mean it has to be a Dragon-type. How about pure Water? I know it sounds boring, but I don't think we have any pure Water-types yet (beside the starters).

Doesn't Lapras already have us Covered for the Lochness Monster?

Yes, i've already thought about Lapras... wait for the drawings and then we'll decide if this project continues, its type and its role (three evolution dragon role, average pkm or a suitor to be a starter).

Here they are; i made them too quickly so they may look a little bit disproportionate.

Cool... Only one thing the first one looks like the head of lugia with the back of lapras... THe other two are very good... It will be a good dragon type pokemon but not as a starter!

I still think it should be pure Water, but I'm fine either way.


The art is pure epicness though, this guy is probably my fav out of your Poke'mon so far!

I'm fine with water dragon for the last form, but it seems like people are just never satisfied with Kingdra... The neck for the first evo is a bit long.

I actually really like these. Seriously, these look fantastic. I personally think they should be the pseudo-legendaries, they just look so awesome. Great job!

So it turns out that given a bit of time, I can make reasonable quality ADV-styled sprites. Who knew?



EDIT: I know it doesn't look exact, but at that scale it's hard to be that precise. Also, It'd be nice to get some feedback, comments etc.

I didn't either, to be honest. What started as me shrinking the art and tracing round it ended up with me scratching a head and modifying the body to fit it. I still don't consider the lineart my strong point.

the sprite is awesome! i didnt know you could sprite that good. the only thing is tho it needs to be shaded

So this is your first huh! Maybe it helped that you sprite that already epic pokemon! and yes the line is shaky... but whom am I to judge that... Spriting is not my strong point or my weak point either... XD

I did do some scratch spriting before, but it wasn't very good and it was a couple of years ago.

Hey maybe you can practice spriting one of my pokemon!! LOL

I second Ferrety, this should defiantely be a pseudo-legendary. That means it has to be duel typed. I suppose Water/Dragon would work, but I think Water/Rock or Water/Steel would be better.

A little note. Motstream is there.

A pseudo-legendary Dragon/Water is deadly!!! I can't think of any other typing for this guy!

It doesn't need to be a pseudo-legendary, the design isn't so cool to be one and if we finnally agree in make it dragon/water it could make it too powerful. However, as a 3 dragon lineage they should be quite strong. Anyway, i'm going to create the apropiate page as soon as i can and i'll include ferrety's design, which i'll add shading and i'll improve some things...

While I love the design for all three, there is a minor issue I have. I am just nitpicking here, but... Isn't it a little weird for it to evolve and lose its back legs? Sure, Pokemon gain limbs through evolution, but they don't lose them.

I personally thought I did put shading on it, especially since it doesn't look flat. But if you do try to edit it (which I have no problem with), at least keep it ADV style.
