Game Mascot

This is the thread we'll use to discuss what our version mascot will be. Chances are we'll make it the main legendary that the game centers around. Here's the stuff we got so far:

Name: Toxaur
Type: Poison/ghost (yes, the order does matter)

Something cute? Or another Dragon that I'm getting of seeing dragon sort of thing.

No more dragons. Please. Game Freak has already given us too many. I think when we make the game, I'm going to make very few Dragon types available and they'll be hard to obtain. I hope to only add one dragon-type evolutionary line in this generation.

Anyway, we can probably make it cute if you want. I'm sure we can add some cute aspects to it. I was thinking of a ghostly creature that levitates and evaporates in the air. (I'm not entirely certain that my spriting skills are good enough for that, though)

I rather have a new Pokemon than an old legendary.

Since we're mostly going along the lines of something Radon-themed, I was thinking maybe Poison/Ghost.

maybe something like dark and fighting for the legendary. All I know is fighting should be in there. Fighting and flying? Whatever we choose, it should be part flying.

Why does it have to be part flying?

I personally support Poison/Ghost. Ghost seems like a more 'legendary' type than Flying. Flying seems too generic.

This is my concept for the main legend. As you can see, the limbs are only connected by a mysterious gas, capable of generating kilowatts of power due to it's mystical properties.

The colour scheme is most definitely not final. it didn't really help that Radon's a colourless gas.

(I know it doesn't look too much like a Poison/Ghost type. However, did you know Palkia's a water type?)

As always, constructive criticism is appreciated. If anyone wants to go off and add something to this that'll make it look more Poisonous/Ghosty, go nuts.

I like the design overall. But I think the pink on the body should be purple to better represent its poison typing, and the legs should probably be longer to emphasize the mysterious gas that makes up the legs.

If the body's going to be Purple, the gas should probably be pink so they don't look too similar. As for extending the legs slightly, I'll try, but I doubt it'll be easy to erase the gas, move them down, then re-do the gas. I'll try, though.

Et voile. I personally perfer this colour scheme, but the shorter legs.

EDIT: Yeaaaaah.

If it is a legendary then it should have its own unique move(like roar of time, aeroblast, etc.) for this onei was thinking maybe a move called 'Petrify' 120 power, Paralyzes all grass, ground, rock, and bug types

Its gas looks like Spiritomb.
How about a Dark/Psychic?

We have established the game as Pokemon Radon, so we're thinking maybe a ghost or poison type to represent the gaseous matter that makes up the pokemon.

I'll have a go at a sprite. Any name ideas?

EDIT: Sprite is now 64x64.

THAT looks a lot cooler than I thought it would. It sort of looks like a dinosaur. I like it.
