Rock pokémon:Stonelen

It kinda does look like an Abra lol! Are those ment to be goggles on it's head? :/

I love the descriptions and I like all the detail you've included about the pokemon. But as for their level-up moves, remember that some people may want to keep their pokemon from evolving so that they'll learn moves earlier, so you'll probably want to include the entire moveset for each pokemon. You may even want to have the earlier evolutions learn moves that the others can't learn at a high level.

Great idea, i'm going to change it to Compoundeyes.

Why should it have Compound Eyes? It's not a Bug-type, Tinted Lens makes more sense. Also, since it's excavating, don't you think it should have Pickup?


Also, I think Stonelen and Explolen should be Rock/Ground (still), but Guardilen should be a Rock/Steel-type. We're not trying to make overpowered Poke'mon in this game, plus, Ground gives it a good STAB for Earthquake and other Ground-type moves that are usually readily available to Rock-types.


But that's just my opinion.

Ok Dimfao if you don't mind here are the stats:

Stonelen: HP 45/ ATT 70/ DEF 65/ Sp ATT 25/ Sp DEF 35/ SPD 31/ Total 271

Explolen: HP 65/ ATT 85/ DEF 75/ Sp ATT 40/ Sp DEF 50/ SPD 91/ Total 406

Guardilen: HP 95/ ATT 115/ DEF 95/ Sp ATT 55/ Sp DEF 75/ SPD 81/ Total 516

These Stats are made taking in consideration that they are rock type pokemon. Hope you like them but they are surely up for changes!

Thanks for the stats, Itsme (itsyou). I find they fit perfectly with their shape and background: better attack than defense (they are rock type but not as hard as geodude...), low special attack and an average speed ( i've seen explolent is the fastest, totally agree, its thiner body makes it faster than its pre/evolution). I don't see anything wrong with the stats so i'll upload them right now. Good job!

About the type, i'm sorry but i definitely want them to be rock type (i've never liked rock/ground).
However about the ability i have my doubts so i'll open a poll to let everyone decide

Well looks like you understood pretty well what I was trying to do here... If you like you can make explolen evolves by trading or by doing something hard cz explolen's stats are good (Good ATT and speed) but that's your decision!

As for abilities I think king is right it needs pickup but not the final one.

If you want my idea:
Stonelen: Pickup/Sturdy
Explolen: Pickup/Solid rock
Guardilen: Solid rock/Sturdy

The main thing here is solid rock cz I saw you wanted tinted lens... So solid rock is an opposite rock type tinted lens. Sturdy can be changed.

BTW If you want compoundeyes I think it's fine cz who said that only bug types should have compoundeyes... and isn't turboblaze a fire type mold breaker?

BTW I still think that compoundeyes is a butterfree thing only!

Lots of pokemon have compoundeyes. Galvantula is one of the best users of the ability, essentially giving it 100% accurate Thunder without rain support.

As for these abilities, Compoundeyes is probably best for just bug types. Keen eye is good, Solid Rock is fine if you're planning to keep it rock/ground. Tinted lens is okay, I guess.

I know that compoundeyes is a great ability... a 1.3 boost to your accuracy is very good! In my opinion it's even better than victini's victory star ability... But being able to use sleep powder, stun spore poison powder are butterfree's thing thanks to compoundeyes... No other pokemon can do this... Not even venomoth, dustox, galvantula...

Besides I have a weak spot for butterfree, thats why I'm trying my best to preserve it's very low use niche!

BTW Galvantula's thunder accuracy is 91% not 100% without rain... So If you have really bad luck it Still can miss!

I always try to keep my promises so here i have... Guardilens remodelation. Well, i made it 80x80 because none of my 65x65 sprites turns well (by the day we will be doing the game i would be enough good at spriting to resize a 80 sprite to a 64 one). The new version is bigger, with a more natural pose and red. why red? i just don't know but i wanted to make it far different to Explent (the head is too similar) so i thought i color changing would be good. I let you give your opinions.

I liked it better with the original colors... or maybe a lighter red or something more earthy cz it's a rock type! But this can be the shiny form...

i agree that this would work better as a shiny sprite. i think a kinda greenish-gold would maybe help distinguish it a bit more subtly. great sprite though

Yeah! this is it... Very good work! I like it... I like how it's eye evolves from stonelen to guardilen, splitting into two but keeping it's color! Very amazing job... Don't forget the devil is the shiny form of this thing!

Oh! I also like the fact that the preevos are albinos while the last one is an albino that got sun burned!

I'have added here and in Muscady's page too, tm attacks and egg moves. For tm i haven't added 5gen tms because they have the same numbers as 4gen tms and i'm not used to that moves.
Anyway, what do you think about the moves (it has just happened in this lineage most of level up learning moves are tm moves too...)
