Prevents the opponent or the user or both?

I think if it prevents the user from switching, it will be a hindering ability... You can't switch this pokemon until it's fainted, plus you can't change it's ability... Yes it's useless. And if it prevents the opponent... We already have arena trap and shadow tag.

I think the best role for this ability so we can make it effective and majorly disruptive if both the user and opponent cannot switch their pokemon once they was deployed if the pokemon with this ability was the leading pokemon of any team!

What u think... It will be like a battle of counters coming for the last battle... both opponents will have then to keep their strongest pokemon for last and hope that their opponent doesn't have the possible counter for their pokemon!!!

I should have been more clear.
The user cannot swittch out. It has too faint unless you happen to have Volt Switch/Uturn. Its a hindering ability that bassically makes the user setup bait/ easy to counter(not to mention its totally screwed by perish song). Turboblaze, Terravoltage, & Gastro acid & will nullify this ability. The reason it cannot change abilities is so there's no cheating using Worry Seed, Skill Swap, & friends. I though this gen could use another Slaking.

Slaking actually has a 670 BST, so it matches with Kyogre/Groudon. & Stubborn isn't nearly as hindering as traunt, so 650 is Waaayyy to high. But So it will Probably have a 580ish BST, around Moltres level strength.

A 580 BST won't have a problem if it stays in the game unable to switch... I think a 530-540 or even minus will be perfect with this ability... this is here where it becomes hindering!

Quite a few Pokemon have 540ish BSTs, they're not broken at all. Milotic, Ulgamoth, Haxorus, Charizard, Yanmega, & others. 540 wouldn't be worth hindering.

A pokemon doesn't have to be broken to hinder it.

I find this more hindering the Truant, personally.

Yeah, but remember that if it learns Baton Pass it would switch out. It is a existing Pokémon effect. If you have a Pokémon trapped by Shadow Tag or Arena Trap, you can switch using Baton Pass.
