This is the thread for Myxophantm and it's evolution, Polyphantm, a Bug/Ghost type evolution family.

Dex: It hates happiness, and does all it can to eradicate it. Smiling at it causes it physical pain.

Dex: A Myxophantm that has been abused to the point of insanity. It is incapable of rational thinking.

A Bug/Ghost family I came up with. The names are a combination of Phantom and Myxophaga and Polyphaga (Two Suborders of beetle). Incidently, 'Polyphaga' means 'Eaters of many things' in Greek, meaning it may have turned man-eating or something after death.

Wow, I have to admit, these are awesome.


However, I am a bit dissapointed about the no dex.

Like it! I am looking forward to know its type and ability, and evolution too!

The only thing I can complain about is the wings and wingcase, it looks kind of like a baseball cap. Maybe you could enlarge it, or make them (Wings and Wingcase) separate?

Just a quick notice, I've added Polyphantm and Pokedex entries to the first post. Look out for them!

I really like the Polyphantm artwork, but what's with the gray cloud on his belly? Besides that, the pokedex entry is pretty neat. Very fitting for a grim Ghost type. This might make a good pokemon for our champion.

Also, don't be afraid to add base stats. I have to admit the brackets are kind of annoying. No offense though.

Also, I agree with Gelo, it looks like a Duskclops is coming out of Polyphantm. O.O No offense.

Another thing this made me look at is the evil and heartlessness of creatures that cannot or hate love, in the fiction they are always trying to do devious things, but what if hatred is the real happiness, and happiness is the real hatred/sadness? And we are really creatures demented beyond recognition...

The grey part on the bottom was added because I felt it looked dull without it. It also adds some more ghost elements to it. Also, I'll probably add some actual base stats in soon. I might make them a little higher than I would have normally if the Champion might use one.

These. Are. AWESOME. I have to make a sprite for the second one now.

i do like that, however I don't really think it's big enough. it'd be great if it were bigger. Another minor comment, the head seems a little misshapen. But this is a fantastic sprite apart from those!

I can't really make it much bigger without screwing up the proportions. It huge compared to the sprite Gelo made of the prevo. Here:
