Hey, I decided to make it Dragon. Point.

You always make pokemon that end up being dragon types... Like the blue pokemon that you didn'y knew what it was supposed to be, suddenly became a komodo dragon and a dragon/ice type even when others suggest other typings you still went by your ideas...

What about making it a pure fire type with levitate not only you'll receive the same damage from stealth rock as Dragon/Fire but also you get immunity for ground your main weakness...

This one was Dragon from the start. The other one was because it was a Komodo DRAGON.
Did you read my first post? Or my newest post? Those aren't Dragon Pokémon. And, actually, I have more Pokémon, and no one of them are Dragons.

Sprites are too big. And if you're taking parts from other pokemon, then you can forget it. All parts of our sprites must be from scratch.

I only used Pidgeotto and Articuno as a base.

Exactly. Everything has to be from scratch. Otherwise, it's not ours. It has to be altered to the point where it's completely unrecognizable in order to call it our own, and in that case, we'd be better off making them from scratch. No exceptions.

So, try making it yourself, please.

It would help if I had some concept art to work off of. However, I can probably provide that myself. I'll get to work as soon as I can.

Still has the same body as the base pokemon and Articuno tail. You can't even trace over the base pokemon, you can't use a base at all. The body- and everything else, for that matter- must be completely scratched. That's the only way we can claim the work as our own. It's like taking a famous painting, drawing over it, and calling it your own work. I hope you understand.

Did you take those wings from somewhere? And to me, the end of the tail looks a lot like it came from Milotic.

The wings are still too much pidgetto & the tail is milotics.

Finally, here it is! But, which wing pattern is better?

Either wing pattern is all right. As long as there are no parts taken from other pokemon, it should be fine.

The wings are part charizard. The rest of it looks fine...

that seems far better from the first version, Gelatino is right about using real pokemon parts, we shouldn't be using that. however you can always use them as a template. I sometimes do that, i take a shape i like, i do a sketh of my idea on it and finnally a create the final design from zero.

Personally, I make first one with parts of other Pokémon, and then try with my own. If it doesn't works, I modify the first one or I mix both.
