Winteox. Ice/Steel and preevos.

Hiya there. New Pokémon. Name's Winteox.

Blade Pokémon
Iron Thorns/Below Zero (Damage from Fightning moves is halved)
This Pokémon lives in the mountains. It is difficult to see, and it is dangerous because its blades.
Stats:
HP: 90
Atk: 110
Def: 80
Sp.Atk: 70
Sp.Def: 80
Spd: 90
It is a very rare Pokémon, found in the deepest part of an ice cave.

Where does the name come from?


EDIT: I like it, but I don't think it should have Sub Zero as it's ability since it has a 4X weakness to Fighting, I find it a bit overpowered.

It has a 4x weakness to Fightning AND Fire.

Name comes from Winter and.... I cannot remember.

I had a steel/ice type too. Maybe I'll scan my picture.

I don't see why it has Iron Barbs. An enemy can easily avoid the spikes by hitting the front of its body. As for the weak fighting ability... I'm undecided. I know it's double weak to two types, but that doesn't mean you HAVE to find a way to get around those weaknesses.

Iron Thorns because it curls to avoid attacks, like Sandslash. I originally was to make that Below Zero halves damage from Fire attacks, but Fire can be below 0º. I think that a fighter doesn't enjoy to be under 0º temperatures.

I like the general concept....

But I find the stats waaaaay too high!

If you want to give it an ability that lowers it weaknesses maybe you should consider lowering the stats too or it will be too powerfull.

A Bst of 550 & an ability that negates a 4x weakness. Wow, that's not overkill at all! This thing DEFINITELY needs some lower stats and possibly the removal of subzero.

Why all the defense? If you're not going to budge on the Defense stat because it's a steel type, at least lower the HP.

Better! But since it's a steel type I'd prefer to keep the defences but giving it 60 or 65 speed. I think it's too fast for a heavy steel type pokemon!

Plus a spine full back plus a big claw or (swords) in the arms... I think it looks a lot like sandslash!!!

Technically not. It is a ilusion of weight. It curls and digs its thorns in the ground, so it is a ilusion of weight.

How is it? It resembles other Pokémon? Because it is without base.

Its body doesn't look very organic. More like a cylinder. Also, the blade positions look kind of awkward. Maybe try making one of them face down?

Otherwise, it's good.

I know that it looks cylindrical, but was because I forgot to change the color of the back shoulder armor.

The drawing looks so cool. The sprite isn't bad but you could remake it in a future. (look just what i did with bikonrol) and i'm sure it will look even better.

Complete family sprite. I need a name for the middle one.

The first one should definitely be called Icicuddle.

I think you should have just Icicuddle and Winteox. The middle one just looks like a shrunk down Winteox.

I know. I was too lazy for changing it more. And the first one is Iciddle.

If you named the first one Icicuddle, It'd be more obvious what words it's name was based on. And that would make it become adorable.

I don't want to be that obvious.

But Iciddle sounds like nothing (except Ice which is dull). No-one would guess, Icicuddle, to me, makes sense.
