    Seedwick and Haycrow Ben3-1
Not my best concept art, but you get the idea. The first one is a little guy with a plant on his head. Now that I think about it, he resembles Oddish a bit too much. His evolution is like a scarecrow with a flower on his head and vines for arms and legs. I'm still debating whether to make them part dark.

    Pokedex entries

First form: This pokemon buries itself in the ground with its head sticking out, to mimic a plant. When the coast is clear, it emerges and eats vegetables from people's gardens.

Second form: It looks like a flower when it's submerged in the ground. Though it appears dangerous, it is a vegetarian that likes to scare people and cause mischief.

Duark seems like the most practical typing, judging by the second evo's Poke'dex and their appearance.

The first one does quite resemble Oddish, and the second one even somewhat resembles Vileplume. However, their Dark-typing should take care of that. You may also want to make sure you don't make the second one's flower red. Wink

Also, I may not be that familiar with the myth, but maybe there could be a alternate/third evolution that could be based off the myth of the Pied Piper? I don't know, the second evo reminds me of that tale for some reason...

I don't think they need a third evo. And I don't know what the Pied Piper has to do with that at all.

*Shrugs* fine. I just thought it seemed fitting.

Well, seeing as you don't want another evo, there isn't really anything else for me the say here. Other than maybe you should shorten the first one's legs, as they are a bit long for a first evolution.

I still can't think of a name for them. Maybe something that incorporates the word "scarecrow" or maybe something having to do with it being cunning, mischievous, or tricky.

How about the first evolution be "Rascrow" as in rascal. The second evo could be "Precarrow" as in Precarious.

Originally, I thought 'Implant' (Imp+Plant) for the first evo, however, since that's already a word, I have nothing.

What Seedwick for the small one as for seed and wicked.
For the evolution I like leechwick but if you like to be more inclined to a scarecrow you can name it Scarecrose.

Definitely they should be grass/Dark because they like mischievous behaviors but if you like to make for a new type combo then you can go with Grass/Ghost.

How about Scarose for the second one? (pronounced Scare rose, can't think of how to spell that.)

Hayscrow might be good for the second one. Maybe just Haycrow. And Seedwick sounds pretty cool for the first one. I'm not seeing Leechwick working.

Looking at dimafo's list I saw that you have'nt decided yet on the typing of these pokemon! So just to let you remember that some work is missing around here cz I just think that they are very good pokemon! I'd love to see some sprites here too...

Hey if I can give you my suggestion I think Grass/Dark is the perfect type for those two cz They love doing some mischief and scarecrows are dark... Don't worry that haycrow would look like cacturne cz the latter is based on cactus and yours is just a pure scarecrow.

I think that it should be grass/ghost. It's a cool type combination that hasn't been made yet.

Grass/Ghost is cool, but hasn't Itsme made a Grass/Ghost diea? i also think Dark/Grass is more fitting, but that's just my opinion, of course. Both are good.

You always say that it doesn't matter if we have a lot of Pokemon of the same typing or other common traits is a good way to make us improve our pokedex... So if you want them to be grass/ghost is fine with me... But I can't see them as ghostly as other ghost pokemon but Jellicent is not too ghostly either... So, the choice is yours!

The problem is that if we have too many ghost types, we'll have to start eliminating some when we compile the pokedex, and we don't want to do that.
