Re: The Game Maps
You should make separate threads to post your maps for each area. It can get quite messy posting all the maps in one thread. For example, if you know what you want the layout of the city to be, then you can start a thread for the player's first town and include the maps of the buildings on that thread.
Also, you should try to take a screenshot of the entire room if you can. If not, then try copying and pasting pieces together.

Re: The Game Maps
ok. i am working on the players room right now and im still learning how to script as i go along. ive changed the name of the professor to fauntleroy, but besides that i havent been able to beta test because i havent changed the land variables to match the map i will post maybe a screen capture video once i can beta test the first scene

Re: The Game Maps
The professor's name isn't Fauntleroy, that's the champion's name. If we're still doing the thing where the professor is the champion, then he goes by the name Acacia.

Re: The Game Maps
I love the style! The only criticism I have is that usually there's a table in the middle, and the fridge/sink/bookshelf should be right back against the wall. Also, it is a little big, yeah.

Those aren't actual graphics, it's a screenshot of the edit mode in RPG maker if I remember correctly.

Re: The Game Maps
yup. and and also seadly i cant rotate things seeing as the are just pictures so thats the only place for fridge/sink. the table are edges weirdly so i cant put one on top of the rug and dont worry the bed will be moved

Re: The Game Maps
There are still a few things you can do to improve:
- Make the kitchen a separate room, rather than connected to the rest of the apartment. The apartment appears to be larger than the standard houses that pokemon games start in, so the kitchen can easily be separated from the rest of the house by walls.
- Put a table in the middle of the room. That's usually where the mother goes in the other games.
- Orient the chairs so that they're in front of the TV. That's where most people put their furniture, and currently, the sofas don't seem to be facing anything of note.

Re: The Game Maps
The only problem with making these giant rooms is that there's not enough stuff to put in the space and it mostly ends up being filled up with emptiness.

Re: The Game Maps
Look. You can make it a one-room apartment if you put walls, like in the Meteorological Institute of Hoenn.
